About Butterfly Park
Butterfly Park Bangladesh Ltd. is not only a Park; it is an ecological example of Bangladesh in Chittagong, officially opened on October, 2012. The park is a combination of a Live Butterfly Exhibitions, Ecological garden and attractive Amusements preserving over 1,000 species of plants.
Butterfly Park is divided into different theme areas - Butterfly Ecological Conservatory, Discovery fern Land, Water Plants, Adventure Area, and Lake side Area. With lots of attractions and shows such as Orchid and Cactus Green points, Lovely Colorful Fish Area, and Flower corners. Educational Area - Museum and Audio visual room. Refreshment area - with International Standard Restaurant. Green lawns for all kind of family and corporate gathering and a Resort for accommodation.
The park attracts 3, 60,000 tourists each year. Visitors are allowed to observe insects live circle particularly Butterfly’s and plants closely. The park is an application of ecological engineering methods - all the landscape, architecture, and structures are Eco-friendly green design with the 3Rs of reduce, reuse, and recycle concept to get the lowest carbon footprint and pollution. After calculating the air-convection and natural daylight illumination park’s structures are established. Butterfly Park Bangladesh preserved forest like environments, lakes, and habitats within the park.
